It’s about time you got to know us here at Raintree. We’re proud not only of the high-quality service we provide, but of the way we provide it.

We’re a small, close-knit team based right here in Cornwall – not a distant call centre. When you get in touch, you’ll be speaking to people who live and work just minutes away, people who genuinely know and love the area. That means we can offer more than just support; we can share real, local insight, from hidden gems to must-see spots, to help you make the most of your stay.

Raintree has been welcoming guests since 1985, born from a simple idea; a group of friends wanting to holiday together in Cornwall. Over the years, that idea has grown into the trusted and highly regarded service we offer today. We now care for 88 properties, stretching from Padstow through to Mawgan Porth. Behind each stay is a dedicated team, both on the ground and behind the scenes, working seamlessly together to deliver the complete Raintree experience.

Your journey with us begins with our enquiries team (Debbie, Meg and Matt, led by Kate) who ensure every booking, enquiry and detail is handled with care and efficiency. Our housekeeping team, led by Jo and Katy, prepare each home to the highest standard, ready to welcome you for your Cornish escape.

Our house management team (Lisa, Charlotte and Jade, under the guidance of Francesca) oversee each property, coordinating with trusted contractors and ensuring everything runs effortlessly during your stay. Billie and Clare manage our accounts, while Olivia leads our photography and social media, supported by Kate, Billie, Patrick and the wider team. Raintree has been run by Patrick since 2009, himself a former guest, bringing a personal understanding of what makes a stay truly special.

What sets Raintree apart is not just our range of homes, but the way we look after them, and you. Being based here in Cornwall means we are always close at hand, quietly ensuring everything is exactly as it should be. It also means our recommendations, if requested, come from genuine experience: the quieter coves, the best tables to book, the walks worth taking and the details that can transform a stay into something truly memorable. We understand that time away is precious. Whether it’s a long-awaited family gathering, a celebration or just the need to slow down and reconnect, every stay carries its own meaning. Our role is to anticipate what you might need before you need it, to remove the small frictions and to make everything feel effortless. Many of our guests return to us year after year, drawn not only by the houses themselves, but by the reassurance of knowing they are in familiar, trusted hands. It’s a relationship we value deeply, and one we take great care to nurture.
