August week available at Veilsfield

If you move quick, you may be able to bag an August week at perfectly located art deco Veilsfield. A 2 week holiday has had to be cut short – a regular guest’s pain can be your gain!!

Veilsfield is available from Thursday 18th August at £2095 for the week. Its located at Trevone, just back from the beach.The house sleeps 8 in 4 elegant bedrooms – 3 of which have views to the sea and Trevose Head. Downstairs, French windows open up the house almost along its full length to the private garden and great decking area. With the beach a few minutes walk away, and a garden ‘snug’ for the kids – you can’t go wrong!

If you enjoy the kind of weather we have had today, you will really be in heaven. First surf of the year this evening – 3 foot and clean at Constantine Bay. What a joy. Particularly after I managed to justify a new wetsuit after my wife had sent the car to the garage for a week of repairs….with my wetsuit back in the back! Disaster – or maybe not! I was very happy in my new wetsuit supplied to me by Des at Constantine Bay Surf Store – very snug! Wetsuit technology just seems to get better and better – so that this winter suit is even more flexible than my old summer suit was. Amazing, and very important for a fair weather surfer like myself – after a winter of resting on shore, fitness levels aren’t quite at their highest! Enough about me….
