Half term and holiday periods

At half-terms the change over day will normally move to a Friday/Saturday arrive/depart, with the price being taken from the Thursday before. It will also always be adjusted to best include the holiday periods of Easter, Christmas and New Year.

The Property

  • Atmosphere

Merrymor is a comfortable and well presented house on Crescent Rise in the heart of Constantine Bay. It has good socialising space in the kitchen and conservatory - opening right out into the private and sunny rear garden. The golf course is a short walk, and the beach just 10 minutes down the beach road or golf course path. Beaches at both Constantine and Treyarnon are within easy walking distance. The house is tidy, warm and clean throughout with really useful features such as the table tennis table in the garage. The fun and friendly nature of the owners shines through to make this a great base for Constantine Bay at any time of the year.

  • Sleeping

There are 3 bedrooms at Merrymor. The master bedroom with king-size bed looks out over the back garden. There is a smart new wardrobe and bedside tables. At the front the largest room has 3 twin beds and great bedside lights, and is perfect for children or 3 adults. The 3rd bedroom has full-sized bunk beds. NB The house will be made-up for 6 - unless you let us know you want 7 beds made-up.

  • Bathrooms

The main bathroom is well equipped with a bath, separate shower cubicle and loo. The pink colour is sure to change over the years to come - but for now functions well. There is a separate cloakroom next door.

  • Living and Dining

The main living area of the house is the kitchen and attached conservatory, leading out to the terrace and back garden. It's a good space, and the likely hub of the house with dining table to seat 6. The French doors out to the sunny terrace ensure that you will make the best of the weather and have plenty of fun evenings here. There is also a good-sized living room, with comfortable sofas and TV at the front of the house.

  • Kitchen

The kitchen has been recently refurbished and is smart and functional. It has modern white kitchen units, with a one and a half sink unit, electric hob, oven and microwave. There is a good-sized fridge-freezer and a separate small drinks fridge. Windows look out over the private rear garden.

  • Facilities

The property has full central heating making it cosy all year round. There is a dishwasher, washing machine and small tumble dryer. There is wireless broadband, and there is good mobile coverage, but no landline. There is also a table tennis table in the garage - great fun when the weather is not perfect! The owner's bikes are available to be used - at own risk and with care to use the provided locks.

Outside

From the conservatory there is a good terrace for entertaining, and a good sized rear garden. There is access to the garage which can be used by guests. There is a good range of garden furniture - perfect for sunny garden relaxation! Merrymor is set back from the road, with a good sized front lawn and prominent palm trees making for a great setting.

Nearby

Trevose Golf Course is within very easy access, being only about 5 minutes walk away. Those who know will testify what a friendly place this is, as well as being a fantastic course. It is often the hub of activity at Constantine – providing a bar and restaurant, tennis and fresh water swimming. In the summer there are plenty of extra activities for all, especially teenagers.

Constantine Bay Stores and Des’ surf shop are just back along the lane, perfect for just about all you need. St Merryn is close, and Padstow only 10 minutes drive – for larger shops and some retail therapy.

The beach is less than 10 minutes walk down the beach path alongside the golf course – or down the beach road. Booby’s Bay and Treyarnon beaches can also be walked to easily. Whether you seek activity and entertainment, relaxation or tranquility, the location is perfect.
