The Property

  • Atmosphere

Tremayne is positioned in an enviable spot on a quiet cul-de-sac just around the corner from Trevose Golf Course and within easy walking distance of the beach. Tucked away yet in the heart of Constantine Bay it has a private back garden with a number of beautifully landscaped terraced areas. Internally the house has been recently refreshed and extended to create a fantastic modern, light and spacious holiday home from home. Towards the back of the house is a large living, dining and kitchen area with windows all around giving a spacious, light and contemporary feel. The bedrooms upstairs are stylishly finished and feature beautiful distant glimpses of the sea. Tremayne has been lovingly updated, with a fresh contemporary feel and beautiful landscaped outdoor areas to match -  this is a special and stylish house for your holiday in our beautiful part of Cornwall.

  • Sleeping

There are three bedrooms at Tremayne - 1 super king and 1 twin (optional super-king) occupy the first floor with the second super king (optional twin) on the ground floor. The super king on the first floor is at the top of the stairs, first door on the left, with built in wardrobes and superb distant sea views of Trevose Head. The next bedroom is a twin with its own basin, chest of drawers, built in wardrobes and further distant views of the sea. The last bedroom is on the ground floor - a super king (optional twin) with two chests of drawers, TV and wardrobe. All are finished to a high standard with quality furnishings and finishes throughout.

  • Kitchen, dining and sunroom

The open-plan kitchen, dining area and sunroom makes for a fantastic light and modern social space, decorated in soft, muted tones of grey. The shaker style kitchen is complete with a butler sink, raised integrated oven, dishwasher, electric hob and views out over the garden. Off the kitchen you'll find a shower room, finished to the same high standard, and a utility room with a second sink, microwave, washing machine and dryer. Your dog will also be able to make themselves comfy with a dog bed for their use. In the sunroom you'll find a sofa, easy chairs and a TV with Sky Movies/Sports. French doors next to the dining table open out into the garden.

  • Living room

The living room is a large family space for coming together on plump, inviting sofas in front of a TV. With windows at one end and glass doors leading to the sunroom at the other, the living room is flooded with natural light and decorated in cool, coastal colours. You'll find a well stocked bookshelf to keep the bookworms of your family entertained.

  • Bathrooms

There are 2 bathrooms at Tremayne and 1 cloakroom. Off the kitchen is a shower room, with a large and luxurious walk in shower. On the first floor is the family bathroom with a bath with shower over, basin and WC. All are modern and stylishly finished. Finally there is a useful cloakroom situated off the main entrance hallway.

  • Facilities

The house is centrally heated with underfloor heating in some rooms. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and microwave. There is also Sky TV with Movies and Sports on all TVs.

Outside

Much care has been taken to ensure the gardens at Tremayne are equally as attractive as the interiors, with beautifully landscaped terraces at the back and side of the house as well as a well-kept stretch of lawn for ball games and sun bathing.

There is parking for 2 or 3 cars.

Nearby

Tremayne is just a 2-3 minute walk from the fantastic Trevose Golf Club, often a hive of activity with its bar and restaurant, tennis courts and outdoor swimming pool. In the summer there are plenty of extra activities to keep the whole family entertained.

Constantine Bay Stores and Des’ surf shop are both a short stroll away. Indulge in some retail therapy in the buzzy fishing village of Padstow, just a 10 minute drive away. St Merryn is also nearby with another pub and handful of brilliant restaurants.

The beach is less than 10 minutes down the beach path alongside the golf course – or down the beach road. Booby’s Bay and Treyarnon beaches are also an easy and fun walk away.

Tremayne was extremely comfortable and well equipped. A bit of a trek to the bathroom from the downstairs bedroom, but at the least the loo was next door!! !! Oh and the beds were some of the best we have slept on in a holiday rental…others should take a leaf out of their book; wonderful mattresses! Thank you.
I am coming down with a group of girlfriends and staying in Pendoric for the week, as we did last year, lets hope the sun shines again!!

A fantastic week – thank you lovely Tremayne!  Very well appointed house – beautifully clean and tidy with all mod cons.  Only additional thought would be to have a coffee/pod machine!  Also, we couldn’t get the radiator in the top bathroom to work – we did find the switch in the hallway, but it didn’t seem to work – not a big problem, which is why we didn’t call during our stay.

Tremayne has been our favourite house so far, although they are all so good it’s hard to choose!!  It’s position is just perfect, close to the village store and a nice distance to walk down to the beach with the dogs.  The utility room was very handy to get the dogs dry before allowing them in the rest of the house.  Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms.  Very stylish décor.  What more could we want.
