Atmosphere

Turi has a homely feel with plenty of personal style and character at the property. Throughout the house is furnished more like a family home rather than a holiday cottage – very much to the benefit of guests.

Sleeping

Turi provides 2 double rooms (both with King size beds) into the eaves and 1 twin room and one bunk room downstairs. The uncluttered ground twin room has a chest of drawers, hanging pegs for your clothes, a bedside table with reading lamps, and the window overlooks the front garden. The bunk room is adjacent and is furnished in a similar manner.

Both upstairs room have their own set of stairs. The first double is accessed off the hall, past the downstairs shower room. The light and airy double room is built under the eaves, and is delightfully furnished with a chest of drawers, bedside tables with lights and there are hooks for hanging your clothes.

The second double bedroom has steep wooden stairs leading up – and is consequently not suitable for older guests or children. All others can enjoy its atmosphere and style. It is finished with tongue and groove panelling around the walls and a stylish neutral colour scheme. There is also a small ensuite with shower, loo and basin.

Bathrooms

Turi is very well equipped with bathrooms. The family bathroom is found off the inner hall, providing a room of good proportions, equipped with bath, shower, and basin. A separate loo is next door. Additionally downstairs there is a shower room – providing powerful shower, loo and basin. One of doubles also has its ensuite shower room.

Living

There is good living space at Turi. The sitting room is split into two parts. The lower part leads out of sliding doors to the garden and small conservatory/sunroom. This sitting room is more focused around children. The upper sitting room provides a more formal living room – deep sofas and arm chair, heavy wood coffee table, reading lamps and TV and DVD. The lower sitting room can also be accessed from the kitchen-dining room. The back garden can also be reached from an outside door from the hall.

Kitchen and Dining

Turi’s kitchen/diner really is the heart of this coastal home. Modern muted shades, accented by pops of colour in the artwork on the wall, make this a calm and pleasant space for eating and socialising. The kitchen is fully kitted out with all mod cons, including a large fridge freezer, oven, hob, full size dishwasher, Belfast sink and the all-important wine chiller and Nespresso machines.

Facilities

Central heating keeps Turi warm all year round. A utility room off the hall houses the washing machine and tumble-dryer. A dishwasher is provided in the kitchen. Wireless broadband is provided.

Outside

Double sliding doors lead from the sitting room out onto a decked area complete with a pergola - perfect for some alfresco dining. The garden is laid to lawn and shrubs and is quiet and secluded. A small shed houses the barbecue and the garden furniture.

Nearby

Turi is located behind Trevose Golf and Country club at Constantine Bay. From Turi you can walk down a quiet residential road in a few minutes to the golf club – for golf, swimming, tennis or to enjoy a drink or meal in the welcoming bar and restaurant. Constantine Bay Stores is a also a few minutes walk away – a great source for quality food and supplies. Des’ surfshop is next door – to hire or buy all you need for the beach. A path takes you on down from the golf course to the beach at Constantine – arriving at the top of the dunes in the middle of the beach. Or you can walk or drive down the Constantine beach road.

Just wanted to say we all had a wonderful time staying last week at Turi. The location was lovely being near the beaches .
All the facilities in the home were lovely . The kitchen had everything we needed which was all so clean and new . It was nice to have milk and cookies /sugar etc on arrival as well always a nice added touch ! The property was very cosy and homely as well .
Would definitely stay here again with the family once we all know when .

Thank you for your help with the booking which was all very easy as I asked for a highchair and travel cot as well which was all there . Good to have the toys and books as well for children . All these extras in the home really helped !

It’s a great house and really well kitted out, it worked really well for us. Upstairs bedroom (up the steep stair case) really needs a blackout blind behind the curtains that face onto the main road. V light v early in that room.

I wanted to mention that we were delighted with the whole Raintree rental at Turi.

We loved the house – extremely warm, clean and well appointed. There were only 3 of us but all loved it and agreed the bedlinen you supply is exceptional and fabulous. Much appreciated. (The cake was delicious – but blew my diet 😫) Thank you to your team & Turi’s owners.

The one quirk about Turi and slight negative, is the strange stairs up to the ensuite bedroom which we decided against using; a bit of a shame as that is a lovely bedroom. However we loved the house and I would certainly be interested to return.
