May Half Term is here

The Whitsun half-term week has arrived and we have now let all our houses which is great news. Well, the fantastic Jollywinds is available from Tuesday, so if you are still looking for a half-term break, you could get 5 days through to Sunday at a great price. A mixed week looks likely – with Saturday and Monday perhaps looking a little wet, but warming up midweek. Never mind, plenty of fun to have anyway. I have to announce a little self-interest, as I am booked in with my family and two others for a week of big eating, beach and garden sports – and general chaos!

Perhaps I’ll post a picture later in the week.

And a quick word just to say that Rosemary, who many of you will know well, looks set to finally lift off on her maiden balloon flight this afternoon. Her birthday present from a few months ago will at last be cashed in. Maybe a photo next week about this too.

This leaves Glynis, who is planning to relax I think this weekend – after the heat and excitement of her daughter’s big wedding last weekend. It all went swimmingly!
