Tristan Stayed: 8th Jul 2025

Many thanks for a wonderful week at Tristan. We obviously got very lucky with the heatwave and had the most perfect week.

It’s absolutely the best house we have stayed at, and have stayed at many! The location is fabulous, the house itself super spacious, everything so clean and tidy and comfortable, very well equipped, high quality furnishings, everything had been considered. Every house we have stayed at previously has let us down in some way, sometimes small, sometimes big, but Tristan was perfect. Even last year at Pendarvis which was almost perfect was let down by a broken washing line and pegs and bad exterior maintenance. Tristan has been absolutely spot on. Please pass on our thanks to the owners of Tristan. We absolutely loved our stay there.

My only piece of feedback for the owners would be that the fence and gate by the bins could do with replacing with fencing the same height as the rest of the garden. There’s a gap that has been covered with a broken tile and the fence and gate is very low and could be easily jumped by an enthusiastic dog, so to make it fully enclosed and dog safe this small section could be replaced with new fencing that is slightly higher. Our dog Lowena didn’t spot anything that made her want to escape but if she’d put her mind to it she probably could have 😂.
