Wings Stayed: 13th Aug 2025

Wings is a great, cosy base for those who love Porthcothan Bay and the neighbouring beaches. It lends itself very well for families who enjoy body boarding, just pop on your wetsuits, grab your boards and go! Upon returning, there is an outdoor tap and plenty of secluded outdoor space for wriggling out of wetsuits, rinsing off sandy feet and hanging wetsuits out to dry. If the weather is good, it has a lovely patio area for enjoying the evening sun whilst the first two get washed and warmed up in the two bathrooms. The kitchen diner is well-equipped making it easy to prepare meals, or if you prefer to eat out or have food delivered, there are lots of suggestions available at the house. The lounge is well-stocked with games, puzzles and books and you can easily keep an eye on the sunset and race back to the beach if it’s looking like you might be treated to an ideal photo opportunity! Wings is always clean, neat and welcoming; we find it has a charm that reminds us of our childhood holidays and have enjoyed our stays mostly as a family of 4 but in occasion as a 6 with a set of Grandparents, always making treasured memories.
