Rockpool Explorers!

Last week my children were lucky enough to go on a ‘taster’ session for Dom’s new venture – Explore The Shore

Dom who has a Bsc in Marine Science has just setup his organisation teaching all ages about what can be found along the wonderful shoreline of North Cornwall – in rockpools and on the beaches. My daughers, Libby and Robin, aged 12 and 9, and their friends Freddy and Tats, rated the 2  hour session as a 9/10 – and were full of stories of bearded muscles defending their rocks from marauding dog whelks!!

They were very well looked after by Dom and Shane – each 2 given their own rucksack of tools and investigative equipment. It’s suitable for all the family – great fun, and a perfect way to see the world of rockpools and the shoreline in a new light!!
