Trevone wins Blue Flag beach award in 2019

It is well known that North Cornwall has some of the best beaches in the UK.  Long golden stretches of sand, or rugged and secluded coves, the county has it all and luckily some of the best are in Raintree country! One of them, Trevone, has recently been recognised by award winning Conde Nast Traveller as no.2 on their list of most beautiful Blue Flag Beaches for 2019, one of only seven beaches in Cornwall to have received this prestigious award. You can check out Conde Naste’s review here

Trevone is ideal for families, with plentiful parking, easy access down to the sand and lots of rock pools for the little ones to explore. There’s even an extra-large rock pool that appears at low-tide for swimming and paddling. For those looking for a bit more excitement, the beach is great for surfers of all abilities with RNLI lifeguards present during the summer months. Visitors can hire equipment, if needed, at the nearby village beach shop.
