Ideally located for exploring North Cornwall and just a short walk from the golden sands at Constantine Bay, Trenala is a spacious and attractive family home in the middle of the village with five bedrooms, flexible living space, and a sunny, private garden. Finished in neutral, coastal hues, the interior is comfortable and welcoming and provides a wonderful base to enjoy everything Constantine Bay has to offer.

  • Living, dining and cooking

A sturdy, solid wood kitchen offers all you need for preparing holiday feasts with plenty of workspace, a dishwasher, double oven and garden views. Coffee lovers will appreciate the Nespresso machine, ready to kick start a day on the beach. The dining table seats 10 comfortably for everyone to enjoy a lazy breakfast, or later on, to gather together for a relaxed holiday supper. Once the eating is over, retreat to the conservatory for post-dinner drinks and to enjoy the last of the evening warmth. Leading off the dining room, the sitting room is a laid back space, with sofas and beanbags for relaxing, chatting or watching TV.

There are five comfortable bedrooms at Trenala; three are located on the ground floor with two further bedrooms upstairs.  The ground floor rooms comprise of a spacious king size, a triple room with three single beds – ideal for the smaller members of the party to all stay together, and single room. The coastal aesthetic extends to the bedrooms, with crisp white linen and a calming colour palette of soft greys, blues and creams. Upstairs, the superking bedroom can optionally be made as a twin for full flexibility. A further twin has views over the back garden. All bedrooms have plenty of storage for holiday clothes.

  • Bathrooms

Trenala has three modern bathrooms; two luxurious shower rooms on the ground floor and a family bathroom, complete with bath for a relaxing soak after a long day on the beach, on the first floor.

  • Facilities

A useful utility can be accessed straight from the garden – ideal for beach equipment in summer, wellies in winter or to let the dogs dry off after a run on the beach.  A washing machine and tumble drier can also be found here.  Trenala has wireless broadband and a landline.

  • Outside

The enclosed garden captures the sun for most of the day. The terrace is home to a large wooden dining table and chairs and is the perfect spot to sit in the Cornish sunshine and drink a morning coffee or for enjoying some food cooked on the charcoal barbeque. A useful outdoor shower with hot and cold water is available for washing off sandy wetsuits, children or dogs. At the end of the garden is a further terrace - escape here with a good book or just indulge in some serious sunbathing!

There is plenty of parking on the driveway for up to three cars, with more parking available on the lane to the front.

Trenala is situated in the heart of Constantine Bay - easy walking to wherever you wish to go! Trevose Golf Club is only a few minutes’ walk away, providing access to the most spectacular golf course, tennis courts and outdoor swimming pool, as well as a thriving bar and restaurant available to all. The well-stocked Constantine Bay Stores is just at the top of the lane with a range of quality goods that should allow you to avoid your car and the supermarket for quite a while, if you wish. It also provides delicious croissants for breakfast and pasties for packed lunches. Constantine Bay surfshop next door will ensure you are well-informed and well-equipped to enjoy the wonderful beaches and surf on your doorstep – whether you wish to buy or rent your wetsuits and boards, or book your surf lesson.

The beach at Constantine can be reached down the beach road past the shops in around 10 minutes easy walk. Or you can head across the campsite down to Treyarnon Bay in about the same time - this route is only open when the campsite is open during the season, April to October probably. St Merryn is the nearby village providing pubs and shops, as well as a number of restaurants. Padstow is only 10 minutes’ drive away - with its array of boutique shops and gourmet eateries.

The house was great and well cleaned and became greater as the week went on! The layout was perfect for us all as we all had some privacy/our own bathroom/Location brilliant. Utility are and outdoor shower perfect.
