  • This house is professionally cleaned by the Raintree housekeeping team. For stays of two weeks or more, the house will be cleaned and the bed linen and towels changed weekly

The Property

  • Atmosphere

Trevelyan is set in an enviable position for Constantine Bay, within easy reach of Constantine Bay Stores, the surf shop and of course the beach. It has beautiful far reaching views across the surrounding open farmland. The house is great for larger groups with two distinct separate living areas so groups never feel on top of each other. The main living, dining and kitchen areas are light and bright spaces with bi-fold doors that can be easily pulled open to effortlessly link the house to the large sunny outdoor terrace. The rest of the garden is laid to lawn surrounded by neatly pruned hedges, with an open, peaceful atmosphere. Trevelyan is a superb option for a larger groups looking for a contemporary, stylish and tranquil base to enjoy all Constantine Bay has to offer.

  • Sleeping

There are five bedrooms at Trevelyan, sleeping 11. Upstairs you'll find the master super king bedroom with ensuite, a second king bedroom and a triple bedroom with bunk beds and single bed with an optional pull out bed. Each of the bedrooms upstairs feature scenic countryside views. The other two bedrooms are on the ground floor; a twin bedroom and a super king bedroom that can be made up as twin if requested.

  • Bathrooms

Trevelyan has 3 bathrooms, as well as a downstairs cloakroom. True to form the bathrooms are modern and well presented. The upstairs ensuite features a shower & WC, while a further family bathroom on the first floor houses a bath with shower over and WC. On the ground floor towards the smaller second sitting room is a spacious family bathroom with bath with shower over and WC. Finally by the front door to the left is a convenient cloakroom with basin and WC.

  • Kitchen and dining room

Trevelyan boasts a spacious, open-plan kitchen and dining area with glass bi-folding doors opening out on to the pristine lawn and views over the open countryside beyond. The kitchen and dining area is well equipped with eight chairs and two benches around the large table, range cooker, built in microwave, American style fridge freezer and modern, industrial light fittings. A social hub of the house, the light-filled space encourages family feasting and coming together to plan the days' excursions over morning coffee.

  • Living rooms

Thanks to the two spacious living rooms, each with its own TV, large group or family holidays at Trevelyan come easy. Both rooms are furnished with comfortable sofas in coastal greys and calming blues and creams. Cushions, throws and luxury rugs add pops of colour. A wood burning stove in the main living room makes for a cosy place to curl up in the winter months after a bracing Cornish clifftop walk.

  • Facilities

A utility off the main hallway houses a washing machine, dryer and a second sink. There's a large American style fridge freezer in the kitchen along with a wine fridge, range cooker, microwave and Nespresso machine. There is also a table tennis table for heated table tennis tournaments.

Outside

The garden at Trevelyan is satisfyingly simple and well kept with a very healthy large lawn surrounded by neatly trimmed hedges. The garden backs directly onto open farmland with benefits from beautiful views and a open sunny feel. There is also a large terrace that leads out from the kitchen and sitting room, which is absolutely perfect for easy alfresco dining throughout the day.

Trevelyan is situated in the heart of Constantine Bay - easy walking to wherever you wish to go! Trevose Golf Club is minutes walk away, providing access to the most spectacular golf course, tennis and outdoor swimming pool, as well as a thriving bar and restaurant available to all. The well-stocked Constantine Bay Stores is just at the top of the lane with a range of quality goods that should allow you to avoid your car and the supermarket for quite a while if you wish. It also provides delicious croissants for breakfast, and pasties for pack lunches. Constantine Bay surfshop next door will ensure you are well-informed and well-equipped to enjoy the wonderful beaches and surf on your doorstep – whether you wish to buy or rent your wetsuits and boards, or book your surf lesson. The beach at Constantine can be reached down the beach road past the shops in around 10 minutes easy walk. Or you can head across the campsite down to Treyarnon Bay in about the same time. St Merryn is the nearby village providing pubs and shops, as well as a number of restaurants. Padstow is only 10 minutes drive away - with its array of boutique shops and gourmet eateries.
