“Constantine Bay recaptures the joys of bygone family holidays”
2nd August 2010
Our area of Cornwall seems to be a favourite with some of the UK’s travel writers.
This weekend in the Daily Mail there was a great article, talking about the whole Trevose area…
“My father-in-law can name the bays of this stretch of North Cornwall like some of us can reel off the bridges of London. ‘Trevone Bay, Harlyn Bay, Mother Ivey Bay, then round Trevose Head to Booby’s Bay, Constantine Bay, Treyarnon Bay, Porthcothan . . .’ he trills, moving ever closer to noisy Newquay. But whenever he gets to Constantine Bay, there’s a pause, followed by a diversion for reminiscences…..”
And then the Sunday Times in its Best of The West article on the front of the Travel section, lists Harlyn, Constantine and Booby’s first-up under ‘Best Beaches’.
Very good to read…but only what we know anyway….
