Not the best weather, but…
27th February 2011
So Feb half-term (for most) ends after a rather patchy week.
Some sun near the beginning of the week, and again over this weekend – but quite grey, and quite alot of rain in between!
But we have had a great time – in a large house with (it seemed) hundreds of kids, massive meals in every night, fires, and walks on headland and beach every day. The weather has not dampened us at all – thanks to wonderful Trevethan House to bring everyone together.
We’ve been trying all methods of beach and boat fishing all week – but little success, and 2 creels, or lobster pots, lost! Never mind – have to keep practising.
The picture above shows how lovely Constantine Bay was yesterday, while we have also spent plenty of time at Trevone around the rock pools – as seen here.
And of course on Porthcothan – loads of fun in spite of the weather – as can be seen in the clip below!
Thanks very much to Lucy at Padstow Farmshop for our lovely Breakfast packs and Vegetable Boxes – delicious. And to David at BinTwo for some delicious refreshment!
