Grove Cottage Stayed: 21st Dec 2016

We had an amazing time and loved the cottage. The only things that were a little challenging were;

* the oven & hob, both were inconsistent with heat (it took over a hour to boil a pan of potatoes in kettle boiled water), it may need a service?

* the dishwasher filter was really dirty which we had to thoroughly clean to remove the excess residue from the washed dishes, so we ended up having to wash up the majority of the time, which as you can imagine for meals of 8 people it was a little frustrating.

* not enough teaspoons!

However, the rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. Loved the Christmas tree and holly decorations, we kept our faux tree in the car!! The location was perfect, Christmas Eve carol service at the church was beautiful, we would really love to come next year if the dates are right.
