There are two approaches to this lovely property: a two mile narrow winding road, and a much shorter and straightforward one. We often chose the longer for its stunning beauty. We wanted a central location in an historic region without crowds of tourists. It was perfection. A quiet beautiful old stone village, all restored and hidden from the A40. Would return. Quick jaunts to Bath, Salisbury, many castles and charming towns. Fantastic walks for exercise. I was with my daughter who needed some study time. The house has two bedrooms, two baths, and two sitting rooms. She was able to set up her own space to work while I sat by the wood-stove in the other. Scrabble every evening after dinner. Lovely beamed ceilings throughout. Parking spot along the lane nearby. We went for walks on the lanes around the village which was convenient and stunning.
